This soundplate fits perfectly under your 55" TV and connecting it is a piece of cake, the remote control is clear, and this soundplate does more than great as a replacement for your TV-speaker. There are different DSP settings on the remote control (music/movie/speech), and they do an excellent job of getting the sound to the listener in the best possible way. The soundboard can reproduce subdued and clear conversations (talk show, news), but it will also overwhelm you with sound effects (during Joker's bluray, for example). It is also suitable for music, with all the ease of use that goes with it (connect a single mobile phone via BT and stream mp3 or Spotify). Although this quality can't replace your more expensive stereo (e.g. bluetooth and edited via DSP), you shouldn't expect that for a device that only costs a fraction of that stereo. Given the lack of retail sales and the few reviews, this beastie was a gamble to get, but I haven't complained for a moment :-)
